MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
The NorthEast Passenger Transportation Association (NEPTA) is solely funded by membership participation and is dedicated to serving and improving passenger transportation throughout the Northeast. It is with the support of our members that we are able to continue this mission.

With a NEPTA membership representing more than 600 transit professionals, NEPTA links you to transit providers, both private and public; suppliers; non-profit agencies; state and federal agencies; consultants and contractors in the industry and many more transit professionals, who like you, are dedicated to serving and improving passenger transportation throughout New England and beyond.

Membership Dues rate based on a calendar year. Dues invoice are available as of November 15, due date December 31. Thank you. .
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
As of November 2019, NEPTA has awarded over $95,000 to deserving students entering into or continuing their education in transit. The Scholarship Award Program acknowledges and assists students entering into or continuing their education in a transit related field.
All employees and employee dependents of NEPTA members in good standing are encouraged to apply. Financial support of this program comes directly from event sponsors and participation in the yearly golf tournament.
Through this award program, NEPTA members and their dependents are recognized for the academic accomplishments, community service and their intended career advancement in the transportation field.
DISCOUNT EVENT REGISTRATION
NEPTA members receive a registration discount on all sessions and workshops, including Professional Training and Certification programs offered throughout the years. NEPTA continues to have the privilege of being involved with the Tri-State Transit Conference planning committee sharing ideas and sessions for the most up-to-date training topics. NEPTA appreciates the guidance for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) staff who continues to provide insight and updates to our members on issues at the Federal level - another tremendous resource for improving transit.
Members will receive first registration privileges and sponsorship opportunities for all events.
VOTING PRIVILEGES
Members receive voting privileges and are eligible to join the NEPTA Board of Directors according to the bylaws.
SPECIAL AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
NEPTA is proud to showcase the NEPTA Hall of Fame and the Richard H. Doyle Award presented to transit professionals who have made outstanding contributions in the industry.
ONLINE DIRECTORY
Members stay connected through an online directory and representation in the NEPTA Buyer’s Guide & Yearbook
Members are able to obtain event attendee informatoin via online directory.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
NEPTA members receive sponsorship opportunities to help showcase their product or service at events as well as the opportunity to assist in the fundraising for the yearly buyer’s guide & yearbook.
